When we run out of vegetables from our own fields, Somerset Farm is the first call we make. We call Steve's assistant Sean, and he picks and delivers, often within the hour. Since the farm is only about a mile from the winery, the trip from field to kitchen is short, and none of the sweetness is lost in transit. Aside from corn, Steve is renowned for his raspberries, blackberries, bushels of heirloom tomatoes, giant sweet onions, a plethora of squash, beans, colorful peppers, and a seasonal pumpkin patch that makes the delights of children. The farm stand, located at the intersection of Highway 154 and Baseline Avenue, is a recommended stop.
