This fruit was grown at both Roblar and Refugio Estate vineyards. In these rich, clay and silt loam soils, the wines ripen with focus and freshness, and express very bright fruit.
Varietal Composition: 60 % Sauvignon Blanc 20% Semillon, 20% Roussanne
This wine is brimming with white peach, lemon curd and nectarine. It is lively and energetic, also possessing great texture and generosity. There is a beautiful push of floral and honey notes in the midpalate. It finishes with a touch of sweet oak and lime pith.
Fermentation: The grapes were picked in the cool morning and whole-cluster pressed. After chilling and settling the juice, the clear juice was racked into French oak, and stainless steel barrels for fermentation and aging.
