These Sangiovese grapes are grown in the well-drained alluvial soil of a premier vineyard located in Solano County’s Green Valley AVA. This small AVA is located adjacent to the southeast border of Napa Valley AVA. The valley's orientation and proximity to the cooling winds and fog from San Pablo Bay creates many of the same favorable climatic conditions as Napa.
